The Armed Forces will knock Russian drones with si siers: what is known about them

To extend: Ukrainian company ODD Systems, which specializes in the development of thermal imaging chambers and FPV-fosters, has announced the beginning of strategic cooperation with the Danish Terma Group. Teams develop an autonomous drone interceptor based on artificial intelligence (AI). In the modern war, air threats are becoming more complex and larger.

In this regard, there is a need for autonomous systems that can independently identify, accompany and physically neutralize enemy drones, writes the DOU portal. According to the publication, new UAV remedies should combine computer -based navigation, thermal imaging analytics, autonomous decision -making logic and modular architecture suitable for scaling. Systems must also work in real combat, unnecessary, expensive or highly specialized components.

ODD Systems is expected to take its decisions already used in combat conditions, including FPV platforms and its own thermal imagers. In addition, the manufacturer has a R&D team that works on visual navigation, optics and software software. In turn, Terma will bring their experience to develop defense systems for different environments (air, land, sea, space), as well as the capacity of the integrator of complex sensory platforms.
