The German Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholt explained what the Federal Chancellor of Germany has meant during the final press conference after meeting with President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky. During his speech at the Scholz press conference he stated that Ukraine would receive peace, but not in the scenario that was preparing in Russia.

According to him, today the Kremlin demonstrates the readiness for "fast peace", without giving up any of the goals put forward at the beginning of the invasion. The chancellor acknowledged that the Russians are "not ready for long and sustainable peace", so Putin explained that Germany would continue to support Ukrainians - the amount of support would not decrease. "We will not reduce the support of Ukraine. We continue to stand with Ukrainians and Ukrainians," Scholz said.

The German Chancellor outlined the content of the agreement concluded on February 16: "We will support Ukrainian partners in the development of modern defense armed forces in order to prevent any future aggression of Russia," said Chancellor Scholz during a press conference. Meanwhile, on February 16, President Zelensky planned to conclude another agreement - with France, - the Palace reported about it.
