The Russian authorities were silent about the attacks of drones at the airfield in Belgorod. At the same time, at least seven of aircraft drones were reported during the day. The airfield in Belgorod hit UAV, one of which fell on the runway. There was a fire extinguished by emergency services of the Russian Federation.

At the same time, the event, which happened on April 12, was silent in the Ministry of Defense of Russia, though they told about a massive attack of drones, which appeared in the air for two to three hours. Information on the disposal of drones is published in the Telegram-channel of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. On April 15, Astra's Telegram channel reported an UAV attack on the Belgorod airfield, referring to its own sources in the emergency services of the region.

According to the interlocutors of journalists, the airport was threatened by three drones. One really fell to the ground and set fire to the grass. It is unknown whether there are any origin on the runway or military objects of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. In the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, on April 12, they did not confirm the threat to the airport in Belgorod. Instead, during the day, the Russians reported seven attacks 17 drones.

In particular, there are reports on the following attacks: up to 6-7 hours. morning (five UAV - four above the Rostov region, one - above Belgorod), at 10:00 (five above Belgorod), at 13:00 (three above Belgorod), at 13:50 (one, in Bryansk) , at 16:30 (one above Belgorod), at 16:50 (one above Belgorod), at 5 pm. (one above Belgorod). Governor of the Belgorod region Vyacheslav Gladkov also did not report the threat to the aerodrome.

The object is located on the northern outskirts of the city at a distance of 30 km from the Ukrainian border.
