Mobilization in Ukraine: People's Deputy explained which of the students will be taken to the army
He explained that it is a case where a person of conscript age is a person of a second, third or fourth higher education. According to Venislavsky, this situation does not meet the rules of the right to education, which guarantees the Constitution. Thus, the right to defer is retained, so it is an optimal solution for obtaining consistent higher education: secondary special, higher, higher and master's, as well as postgraduate studies.
Thus, a person can be entitled to a deferral if he is educated consistently at these steps. At the same time, the deputy noted that the acquisition of first higher education in Ukraine, as well as other consistent degrees is at the state expense. But the second higher education of another profile is obtained by contract.
Venislavsky added that with the beginning of the Russian full -scale invasion, some of the higher education institutions began to take on a contractual form of training almost everyone. First of all, almost anyone who paid 20 thousand hryvnias was accepted for training, that is, for that amount, the person was able to get a deferral from mobilization. However, in the future, such actions will be covered, and in such cases there will be no grounds for delay.
It should be reminded that on March 12, a 38-year-old man received a sentence of a three-year imprisonment due to refusal to call for military service during mobilization. According to the court, the resident of Volyn region had no legal grounds to get a deferral, the press service of the Volyn Regional Prosecutor's Office was informed.
