India has become the second largest supplier of limited technologies for Russia - Bloomberg

India is exceeded only by China. The main factor in Moscow, the publication notes, is a huge stock of Rs accumulated by Russia. The latest data show that almost a fifth of sensitive technologies that enter the Russian military-industrial complex gets there through India. Bloomberg writes about it with reference to officials who were asked not to name their names.

Indian exports of limited goods, such as microchips, schemes and machines in April and May, exceeded $ 60 million, which was about twice as much as in the previous months this year, and jumped up to $ 95 million in July. India is exceeded only by China. However, it is most disappointed by the Allies of Ukraine, as some of the sources say that diplomats that raise this issue remain unanswered from their Indian colleagues.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of India, as noted, refused to comment on this trend. These data emphasize the difficulties that the US and their allies encountered, trying to limit Russia to fight in Ukraine. The export of most dual -use goods is prohibited directly to Russia, so Moscow began to buy them through intermediaries in third countries.

Turkey and the United Arab Emirates were two large transshipments, and the United States, together with the European Union, work on restriction of technologies on the way to Russia. Therefore, there are new hubs that now include India, Malaysia and Thailand. The role of India as a transfer point made it an object of attention to sanctions agencies.

Officials came to the country several times, trying to force the authorities to take rigid measures to stop supplies, and several Indian firms came under Western sanctions. India's involvement in the supply of such goods is another problem as US and European politicians seek to develop partnerships with the Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In addition, India became the largest buyer of Russian oil, despite the efforts of the Allies to limit sales.
