To replace the Armed Forces: US acquires the most powerful version of BMP Bradley M2A4E1

The new modernization of the Braldley infantry fighting machine has received a complex of active protection, better optics and other systems. In the United States, they demonstrated the most protected version of BMP Bradley M2, the previous version of which effectively showed itself on the battlefield in Ukraine. This was reported by the PEO Ground Combat Systems by the US Defense Ministry. Last week, the army presented the Bradley M2A4E1 version in Sako.

The combat vehicle will be the most modern and protected system. The peculiarity of modernization is the integration of the Iron Fist active protection complex, improved infrared devices for a high -resolution gunner. The environment control unit is also integrated to prevent heat stress during dismantling. Details for other M2A4E1 modernization elements are not voiced. The US Army received funding for the purchase of the same number of cars that Ukraine received.

According to official data, the United States handed over more than 200 BMP Bradley. It should be noted that the Armed Forces has a BMP M2 Bradley in the M2A2 ODS-SA version, which was created on the basis of fighting in Iraq. It is known that the machine operator is the 47th separate mechanized team. The combat vehicle effectively showed itself in hostilities against the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
