18 thousand armored vehicles: Putin exceeded the Lies of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation about military losses of Ukraine

At the Eastern Economic Forum, the Russian leader began to lie that during the counter -offensive of the defense force, 543 tanks and almost 18,000 armored vehicles of different classes had lost. The President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, during the Eastern Economic Forum organized by Russia, voiced the "loss of the Armed Forces" in military equipment. It is noteworthy that the numbers that the dictator called were even higher than the "reports" of the Russian Defense. At the said event, President Vladimir Putin introduced figures that may be unverified or inflated, and did not indicate the source where the data was obtained. He reported that during the counter -offensive, defenders lost 543 tanks and almost 18,000 armored vehicles in different classes.

Such statements are often criticized and can doubt, especially when there is no detailed information about the origin and reliability of such figures. At the same time, the publication noted that on the eve of the Russian Defense Ministry, in its daily summary, 11,779 allegedly destroyed tanks and other armored vehicles since the beginning of the war.

It should be noted that in general, from the beginning of a full -scale invasion of Ukraine, only 5 400 APC was transmitted, 1 035 was obtained as trophies. As for its own equipment, according to Military Balance, as of 2021, there were about 2 100 units of armored vehicles in Ukraine. It should be reminded that Ukrainian drone operators have caused great damage to the occupiers, accurately destroying the heavy and light equipment of the Russians, as well as the personnel of the Russian army.
