This was stated on Thursday, February 22, Minister of the Armed Forces of France Sebastian Lecorton, reports "AP News". According to the newspaper, Lecorton did not provide specific details about French flights or aircraft that the Russians threaten to knock down. However, he said that Russia was returning to a "particularly aggressive" position that resembles the behavior of the former Soviet Union during the Cold War.

"A month ago, I will give you a very specific example, the Russian air traffic management system threatened to knock down the French aircraft in the Black Sea, when we were in a free international zone where we patrol," he said on Radl radio. According to him, such behavior of Moscow can be explained by the fact that "Russia is difficult on the battlefield in Ukraine.
