The Russians demolished the unique modernist sanatorium "Dawn of Ukraine" in Crimea (video)

The masterpiece of world architecture, built in 1985, was blown up - the invaders so freed the new building. In the temporarily occupied Crimea, a unique architectural modernist monument was demolished - the sanatorium "Dawn of Ukraine". The building was planted in the air to free up space. This was reported by the Ukrainian Modernism project on its Instagram. "The unique complex of structures Russian invaders were blown up to release space for construction," the publication reads.

The authors of the publication call the "stars of Ukraine" a masterpiece of world architecture, which was skillfully inscribed in the mountain landscape of the southern coast of Crimea in the settlement of Kikinea. The project was developed by architects Valery Zhilkin and Yevsiy Perchenko, and the sanatorium opened its doors for vacationers in 1986.

After the capture of the Crimea, the Russians were in disposal of about 200 sanatoriums, and occupation administrations began to actively seize them in private hands and transfer to Russian security officers, according to the post. "If suddenly one of you still has illusions about the fact that Putin's Russia has some kind of piety to the Soviet heritage - forget. They are unknown concepts of culture and heritage, value is only money and war," - said the authors of the Ukrainian Modernism.

We will remind, recently the permanent representative of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea Tamil Tashava stated that after the liberation of Crimea Ukraine will have to decide the fate of Russian citizens who are illegally there. According to recent estimates, about 500,000 Russians moved to the peninsula over the 9 years of occupation.
