Armenia's war with Azerbaijan can begin "at the end of the week" - Pashinyan
It is about settlements located on the border of the Tavush region of Armenia and the Gazakh district of Azerbaijan. The Armenian leader met with the inhabitants of these villages and explained to them that Armenia authorities were forced to adjust the state border in the border areas of the Tavush region to avoid a new armed conflict. "Now we can leave here, let's go and say (Azerbaijan) that no, we are not going to do anything.
This means that the war will start at the end of the week," Pashinyan said. The Prime Minister added that he knows what the end of this war would be, so he voiced his assumptions. According to him, after another armed clash, the locals ask him why he, having information about the threat of combat, did not prevent them in advance. Earlier, Pashinyan stated that an active phase of delimitation and demarcation of the border began between Yerevan and Baku.
At the same time, the politician added that it is necessary to clarify where the border of Armenia actually passes - Baku named four problematic villages, and Yerevan for his part 31 settlements. Meanwhile, the Armenian opposition considers the transmission of Azerbaijan enclaves inadmissible, since one of the former Azerbaijani enclaves passes the road connecting Armenia with Iran. Also under the control of Baku will be a gas pipeline and an road in the Tavush region, which comes from Georgia.
