Ukrainians are not ready to concede to the Russian Federation and want punishment for all Russians: results

Ukrainians are not ready to give Russia their territories and are ready to agree to the continuation of the war, if necessary for victory, even despite the deterioration of the financial and security situation in the country as a whole and for their families in particular.

Ukraine has published the results of a poll on "War, Peace, Victory, Future", which was conducted by the Ilka Kucheriv Democratic Initiatives Foundation together with the center of political sociology during June 5-15, 2023, "Oprah" reports. Its results indicate that Ukrainians are not ready to make territorial concessions with the Russian Federation and give up NATO. The poll was covered by all regions of Ukraine except Donetsk and Lugansk. The respondent aged 18 years of age took part in it.

The maximum casual sample error does not exceed 2. 3%. From the beginning of the full -scale Russian invasion of optimism and hope in the better future of the country have reached one of the highest rates from the time of the Revolution of Dignity. Thinking about the future of the state, Ukrainians mainly feel hope (59%), anxiety (42%) and optimism (33%).

At the same time, an increase in negative emotions and a decrease in optimism during June was recorded, which could be influenced by the undermining of the Kakhovskaya Hydroelectric Power Dam. Recall that almost half of refugees from Ukraine want to remain in Germany. This is evidenced by the results of a survey conducted by the German Institute for Economic Research, the Institute for Employment Research, the Ministry of Migration and the Federal Institute of Demographic Research.
