The teacher of computer science of the Higher Vocational School went on cooperation with the enemy in July 2023. The SBU was detained during an attempt to transfer the intelligence. The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) in the frontline areas of Zaporizhzhya region detained the teacher of computer science of the Higher Vocational School, who was an informant from the enemy, in particular collected information about the deployment and movement of the Armed Forces in the region.

This was reported in the SBU press service on Telegram. "In order to collect the intelligence involved, the observation post at his own cottage, which is located in one of the garden societies near the Southern Front. Using binoculars and other optics, he tried to identify the leading positions of the Armed Forces units," the SBU said.

He also went on a bicycle by the neighboring country cooperatives and the surrounding area and recorded the routes of the Armed Forces Military Insurance Military Inspection Routes. According to the investigation, the man transferred a message to the representative of the Russian special service with the coordinates of the objects of defense forces through the messenger.

In particular, the intelligence needed the enemy to prepare fire strikes in the units of the Armed Forces, in particular with the use of enemy S-300 and C-400 SPRs. The SBU detained the Russian informant during an attempt to transfer the intelligence. During the searches at the place of residence, a mobile phone and laptop were found with evidence of correspondence with the enemy, four signaling pistols, recycled for combat, three radios and optical surveillance devices.

The SBU added that the teacher went on cooperation with the enemy in mid -July 2022. He was informed suspicion under Part 3 of Art. 114-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (unauthorized dissemination of information on the movement, movement of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, committed in the conditions of martial law). He is now in custody. He faces up to 12 years in prison.
