Fall Il-76: The Russian Federation does not consent to the international investigation-GUR (video)
This was announced on the broadcasting of the TEMARFON by the representative of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense (GUR MOU) Andriy Yusov. According to him, the day before, a meeting of the UN Security Council was held, at which it was stated that the organization could not determine whether Ukrainian prisoners of war were on board. No obvious evidence of the enemy that would confirm their version of events was also provided.
"Instead, we can repeat and state that it is a military aircraft involved in the transportation of Russian weapons and hostile personnel repeatedly. Of course, the requirement to create an open international commission is logical and reasonable, " - said Andrey Yusov. Separately, the GUR MOU representative added that to find out the exact cause of the fall of the Russian aircraft, it is necessary to study its large remains, "black boxes", as well as to carefully inspect the scene itself.
At the same time, Russia is not aimed at considering such a scenario. "At the moment, as we hear, Russia rejects the possibility of work of such a commission," - summed up Andrey Yusov. We will remind, also Andriy Yusov stated that the Russian Federation did not pass on the Red Cross a list of prisoners who were allegedly on the IL-76 plane. The Russian authorities conceal the names of Ukrainians, who could be exchanged on January 24, spoke from international organizations.
