The European Union wants to prohibit the supply of Playstation and XBOX game consoles to Russia, which military aggressor countries can use to manage UAVs. However, experts say, these prefixes are not powerful enough for such purposes. The EU is going to ban the export to Russia game consoles from which Russians can control drones in the war. This was reported by a high representative of the European Union on Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kai Callas, writes Defense Express.

The announcement of the new sanction list is scheduled for February 22 and in the Financial Times notes that Playstation and Xbox have got there. However, as it is emphasized, the reinforcement of these prefixes to the "black list" is quite strange. In the middle of the consoles are AMD Zen 2 processors and a video card for 10. 28 teraflops, which are not particularly "super -power", but built in such a way as to be as effective as possible in optimized under the games.
