Damaged residential buildings, fires and many victims: the consequences of the Russian attack on Kyiv

Share: On the night of October 26, the Russian army attacked Kyiv with attack drones of the "Shakhed" type, as a result of which residential buildings were damaged in the capital and many were injured. The number of victims in Kyiv due to the Russian attack reached at least 26 people at the time of publication. This was reported in the Telegram channel of the Kyiv City Military Administration. Six children were among the victims in Kyiv, the department noted.

According to the information of the local authorities, in particular the head of the KMVA Timur Tkachenko, the consequences of the attack of the Russian "Shakheds" on Kyiv are currently recorded in two districts of the capital — Desnyanskyi and Obolonskyi. In both districts, civilian infrastructure was damaged by shelling, in particular, high-rise residential buildings. Local media reported that people were trapped on the upper floors of the building where Shahed hit.
