Rostech will show the unmanned BMP-3 at the Army-2022 Forum: What is known about a new robot

According to the developers, the machine will be able to accelerate up to 70 km/h, shoot three guns and release drones. The Russian State Corporation "Rostek" will present an unmanned infantry fighting machine BMP-3 at the Army-2022 Military-Technical Forum. About it writes the agency "RIA Novosti". According to Rostekh, the armored vehicle will demonstrate its capabilities in a dynamic show with the robotic module "Sinits". BMP-3 will swept without crew on board, operators will control it remotely.

The work was developed by engineers of the Holding Complexes - the Mound Machine -Building Plant and the signal. According to the Russian website "Army Standard", the robotic complex on the basis of BMP-3 was called "UDAR". The platform was developed in the Soviet years, but they could only be implemented recently, despite the fact that the finished platform has facilitated the process. The prototype, which "Rostekh" told in 2021, had a weight of 18.

7 tons, caterpillar chassis, diesel V-shaped engine UTD-29 with a capacity of 500 hp. The running part consists of six pairs of double rubberized cats and hum -metal caterpillars. According to the developers, the robot can overcome moats up to 2. 5 m wide, rise slopes up to 30 degrees and with a roll up to 30 degrees. "Rostech" promises that the machine will develop speed on the road up to 70 km/h, and the fuel tank for 700 liters will provide a run up to 600 km without refueling.

Circular inspection camcorders, as well as a special automated system and communication tools, help drive the machine at a distance. "Rostech" provides for the possibility of fully autonomous work without human participation-in this case, the "impact" should be a 3D card on the basis of data transmitted from sensors. Artificial intelligence is intended to calculate the route, taking into account the terrain and features of the combat mission. The management point is located in the Ural-4320 truck.

The Sinitsa combat module has a built -in panoramic sight with the thermal imaging channel. It installed the main weapon of 100 mm caliber, auxiliary by 30 mm, as well as a machine gun of the caliber 7. 62. In addition, "UDAR" can be completed with smaller drones for intelligence, relaying signal, demining, evacuation of the wounded. The Army-2022 Forum should take place from August 15 to August 21 in Cubinka (suburbs), and almost 1. 5 thousand enterprises will take part in it.
