Improved at the request of the Armed Forces: new battle drones were tested in Ukraine (photo)

Lithuanian authorities will allocate 5 million euros for drones that meet the needs of the Ukrainian soldiers on the battlefield. The Ministry of Defense in Ukraine conducted a test of unmanned aerial vehicles provided by Lithuania manufacturers. This was reported by the Lithuanian Defense Ministry on its official site. According to the department, the test was organized to ensure that Ukrainians can choose the most suitable UAV models.

To do this, the drones were protested in conditions close to the front. This time, five Lithuanian companies, which improved their drones, relying on the reviews of Ukrainian specialists. It is reported that the representatives of the Armed Forces evaluated the UAV presented and voiced their grades and proposals. Based on these recommendations, Lithuanian manufacturers will be able to improve their drones even more, after which contracts will be signed.

The Lithuanian Ministry of Defense does not reveal which UAVs were tested, noting only that all devices were distinguished by the technical characteristics, components and the availability of innovative technologies. The Ministry also posted a photo of the FPV-aroma. National Defense Minister Laurinas Kachunas noted that Lithuania seeks to stimulate the production of drones and means of combating them.

For their part, Ukrainians share with Lithuanian manufacturers their experience of using UAVs in the war, as well as test their products to sign contracts for the supply of the most suitable models. "It is a huge incentive and a significant step for our drones, since technologies and capabilities of drones are a prerequisite for the availability of modern armed forces," Laurinas Kachunas stressed.

The department also noted that Vilnius plans to provide Ukraine with drones of Lithuanian producers worth 5 million euros. The same equipment will be purchased for Lithuania's armed forces. Recall that the Lithuanian manufacturer of drones Granta Autonomy presented at the exhibition in Paris reconnaissance mini-panels Hornet XR, which was personally tested by the head and employees of the company at the front in Ukraine.
