The problem is not only in air defense: Ignati explained why rockets and drones come to Odessa

The spokesman for the Armed Forces Command emphasized that the geographical location of Odessa and the dislocation of air defense itself interfere with all hostile air goals. On the night of March 5, the Ukrainian Air Force was neutralized by 18 drones-Kamikadze Shahd-136, which Russian invaders attacked the civilian population of Ukraine. However, the region still has an infrastructure.

The spokesman of the Air Force Command Yuri Ignat on the air of the Telvarathon explained about what it was related to. "Unfortunately, it is not possible to destroy all the drones that Russia attacks from the south. According to the speaker, to neutralize all the drones and missiles that the Russians run through Odessa, interfere with the geographical location of the city and the air defense itself.

"Odesa, I want to emphasize, is on the Black Sea coast, a densely populated city, which is actually on the verge to the city itself. This is caused by its geographical location, "Ignat added.

Earlier, Natalia Humenyuk, the head of the united coordination press center of the South of Ukraine, stated that the reason for the "successful" strikes of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in Odessa is the use of "insidious tactics" when UAVs are maneuvering between residential and industrial quarters of the city. We will remind, the chairman of the Odessa Ova Oleg Kiper reported that on the night of March 5 the Russians launched "Shahda", which attacked the Odessa region.

In general, air alarm in the region lasted about three hours - from 23:33 to 02:47. The Telegram channel "South Defense Forces" told that the Russians managed to get to the recreational facility in the Odessa district: they assure that the object did not work. In addition to the buildings of the boarding house, outbuildings and a pier were injured nearby. It should be noted that the previous air attack of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation occurred on the night of March 2.
