Military expert Oleksandr Musienko reported that a quick Russian breakthrough at the time of the ravine was impossible. According to him, the Ukrainian forces keep the dominant heights in the time ravine and effectively reflect the attacks. "I think the fighting here in the creeping offensive manner will continue until spring. And then, perhaps, the Russians will slow down somewhat," he added.
