The offensive of the Russians in the north direction is ongoing. It is impossible to ignore the problem, said Budanov, but the catastrophe, in his opinion, will not happen. The threat of Russian armed forces to Ukraine from the north is quite real. The head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence (GUR) Kirill Budanov told about it.

The intelligence chief noted that the offensive of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation from the north even continues, however, not to "provoke panic", did not specify in which regions it takes place - in Sumy or Chernihiv regions. He noted that it was a little anecdotal situation for him, because GUR had reassured for two years that there would be no attack from the north.
