In Kiev, the taxi driver stole 400 thousand hryvnias from the widow of the military, which she planned to spend on the purchase of military equipment for the brothers of the man. This was reported by the Kiev police press service.

A 31-year-old woman was traveling in a taxi with a bag of 400,000 hryvnias-a state aid that the applicant received for the man who died in the war. When she was at home, she found that there were no money with money that the woman planned to hand over to the brothers to buy military equipment. "The victim turned to a taxi support service, however, they noted that the driver did not find her things in his car," the message reads.

However, during the investigative operational measures, police received evidence of the driver's involvement in the theft of the victim's affairs. "Law enforcement officers seized a 26-year-old taxi driver with all the amount of money he hid in advance and returned their owners," the Kiev police press service said. The taxi driver has already been reported suspicion under Part 4 of Art. 185 of the Criminal Code - theft is committed in martial law. He faces up to eight years in prison.
