They died while waiting: in the Russian Federation prepared a cemetery of locomotives in case of nuclear war (photo, video)

Russia has prepared 140 trains in the event of a nuclear war and hid them behind the Urals. In 70 years, trains have been dug and some sold to China. In Russia, they were preparing for the nuclear apocalypse from the 1950s. In particular, they predicted that the population would have to export from the European part of the country far deep into Siberia. To do this, prepared a special park of trains. After 70 years, these trains remained rusty. About it writes the portal The Sun.

The portal noted that the train parking in the case of nuclear war is located near the city of Shumkovo in the Permkov region of the Russian Federation. It should be noted that the distance from this settlement to Moscow is about 1 thousand km. As it turned out, in the 1950s, the Russian authorities decided to prepare for the evacuation of the population from the European part of the country. To do this, 140 trains were bent to a special place, the journalist indicates.

He also notes that the wagons had to pull the steps - in the event that the territory of the Russian Federation is deactivated as a result of nuclear explosions. The video shot at the traine cemetery shows old rust steps. In some ahead you can see a relief five -pointed star. On a few tens of meters, cars stretch on the tracks that almost overgrown with grass. It is noticeable that some cars are freight. Whether there were other types - similar to passenger - it is not clear at this time.

A few frames are made inside. You can see the seat covered with old dermantin. The levers, valves and accessories of the unknown is also enough in good condition. The glass has even been stored on some sensors. The media noted that local enthusiasts tried to make the cemetery a place of excursions. In addition, some of the sprouts were sold in China - this country even needed such equipment. There are 17 steams left in the old cemetery.

The guard of trains cemetery - Russian Grigory Gordeev, is stated in the article. For 30 years he kept the transport, tried to keep him in working order, made it care that he was not stolen or trimmed. Then he watched the locals from time to time came and photographed against rusty trains. "You see them (locomotives) live their lives, just standing. People are curious, they come, take pictures, watch. After all, this is our story," the man said.

We remind you that on September 1 it became known that the Russian Federation was put on a combat duty rocket "Sarmat" - a carrier of nuclear warheads. The rocket is able to fly up to 11 thousand km: if it is launched from the Urals, it will easily fly to the Atlantic coast of Western Europe.
