Armed Forces Use Abstract British Drones Ultra: What missions they do (video)

Ultra UAVs have autopilot technology, can work at night and carry up to 100 kilograms of reconnaissance, including intelligence equipment. The Defense Forces of Ukraine since 2023 have been used in the war with Russia cargo unmanned uncrewed Low Cost Transport (Ultra) from WindraCers. This was stated by WindraCers CEO Simon Mudrak Janes. According to the edition, Ultra is a tactical UAV created to replenish the military.

Its maximum runoff can reach 450 kilograms - the internal cargo compartment maintains a good load of up to 100 kilograms. The compartment can also place a set of sensors for reconnaissance, observation and reconnaissance functions. UAVs performs exploration and also performs supply tasks. Ultra UAV has autonomous capabilities and can perform missions at night.

The company states that autopilot and flight management technology developed by a group of companies of Distributed Avionics, designed to communicate with UAVs from anywhere, in direct visibility mode (BVLOS) and without a single onboard computer that controls aircraft. The drone can automatically take off and land up to 150 meters in humid and dry conditions, as well as stay in the air for more than 12 hours.

Simon Mudrak did not specify when and how many Ultra drones received the Ukrainian military. Journalists believe that the UK Ministry of Defense has purchased devices on behalf of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The source of the publication also noted that the purchase and supply of these UAVs is carried out within the British UAV support program of £ 325 million.

We will remind, on May 27 in the Russian Federation stated that they were shot down in the Krasnodar region the unmanned apparatus Tekever AR3 of Portuguese production, which the forces of defense of Ukraine received from the United Kingdom. According to the invaders, the Ukrainians reworked the Portuguese drone Tekever AR3 from a scout on Kamikajadze to re-attack the radar "Voronezh-DM".
