The investigation notes that the head of this gang, 45-year-old Orlyn Ruseva, was recruited by Jan Marsalek, one of the most wanted fraudsters in the world, who previously worked as an operating director of the German payment company Wirecard. In 2020, he escaped to Russia, and the next day the auditors noticed the disappearance of one and a half billion dollars from the company's account.

Also, since 2015, a man has been actively working with Russian special services and helped intelligence to create a PEC in African countries. In general, his shoulders had other delicate orders. Marsalek and Rusev started working together in 2014, after which four more citizens of Bulgaria joined them.
