Pen an EXCEPT OF THE RF LOGISTICS AND PROTECTION: ISW experts analyzed the Armed Forces counter -offensive
This conclusion was reached by analysts of the Institute for War Study (ISW). The ISW analyzed the reports of Ukrainian officials, including the Chief of the Main Directorate of Missile Troops and Artillery and Unmanned Systems of the General Staff of Ukraine Colonel Sergei Baranov, Head of the Joint Press Center of Defense of South of Ukraine Natalia Humeniuk, as well as the commander of the Tavriyskaya Alexander Activated Army of Brigade.
Experts noted that the campaign lasts at least three sections of the front, aimed at depleting the force of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and allows to preserve the Ukrainian forces at the cost of slow conquest of territories. Analysts added that Baranov, Humeniuk and Tarnavsky's statements show that the Ukrainian military was successfully conducting a counter -offensive.
It is known that Colonel Baranov stated that Ukrainian missile and artillery units are "powerful" and "accurate", and therefore be responsible for about 90 percent of Russian losses, thanks to Western high -precision missiles and artillery systems. Natalia Humeniuk, for her part, noted that Russian troops are experiencing a "projectile famine", as evidenced by a decrease in the number of shelling of the Kherson region.
This is due to the strokes of the Armed Forces on Russian clusters of ammunition in the deep rear. And the commander of the Tavriya group of Ukrainian troops Brigadny General Alexander Tarnavsky, on July 13, compared Ukraine's counter -offensive with boxing. According to him, the Ukrainian army intends to "keep the enemy at the distance of the extended hand" to avoid melee, as Ukraine can effectively win Russian forces at a long distance.
