In addition to the announcement of equipment and ammunition supply, the Foreign Minister Rostislav Kacher said that the country is planning to restore the production of Soviet caliber shells. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Slovakia during a joint press conference with the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmitry Kuleba stated that they would consider the issue of restoring the production of ammunition for the needs of the Armed Forces.

According to Rostislav Kacher, Soviet calibers were made in Slovakia-152 mm ammunition and 120 mm mine. Currently, the Minister called the restoration of this production. "We are now talking about how to launch our production facilities. We have manufactured large-caliber ammunition 120 and 152 mm. We have capacities for these calibers-partially state, partially private. We need to start these capacities to start producing 152 mm for howitzers. This is our first priority, "Kacher emphasized.

We will add that earlier in the media it was written that NATO is considering investing in the Czech Republic, Bulgaria and Slovakia to restore the production of Soviet shells. In Ukraine, most of the artillery is Soviet technology. First of all, it is about large caliber ammunition. We will remind, in "Ukroboronprom" stated that they produce more than 1000 ammunition of Soviet calibers per month.
