This opinion was expressed by the head of the Ministry of Defense Alexei Reznikov in an interview with Forbes. He stated that the process of accumulation of resources by both parties is ongoing.

Reznikov stated that each side is ready to take the initiative, and now Ukrainians expect that the opponent would do. "We are ready for the offensive of the Russians and we are preparing a counter -offensive. Our main goal in this war is to win, liberating all the temporarily occupied territories, liberating our people and bringing the perpetrators responsible to the international tribunal," the minister said.

He noted that Ukraine, along with the civilized world, will surely win Russian aggressors. "Last year, we proved that Ukraine is able not only to stop the Russian army, but also to defeat it," the minister stressed. In addition, Reznikov added that Western weapons will help Ukrainians win. "No one believed that David would win Goliath, but it happened thanks to that stone in the Fang. In our case, David would win Goliath with the help of our friends' weapons," the minister summarized.
