We will do everything for new sanctions against Russia to block its nuclear industry - the President of Ukraine's appeal
They arrange constant provocations with shelling of the NPP territory and try to catch up on this direction their extra forces to even more blackmail our country and the whole free world. If someone in Russia thinks that they can give it something, then they are wrong. Russian blackmail only mobilizes even more global efforts to confront terror.
Every day of the Russian contingent in the territory of Zaporizhzhya NPP and in the neighboring regions of our country, there was no radiation threat to Europe that even at peak moments of confrontation during the Cold War there was no such. Of course, this should be a powerful reaction. Ukrainian diplomats and representatives of partner states will do everything to make new sanctions against Russia be sure to block the Russian nuclear industry.
And absolutely all officials of the terrorist state, as well as those who assist them in this blackmail operation with the nuclear power station, must be responsible in the International Court. This will definitely be. And every Russian military who either shoots at the station or shoots, hiding behind the station, must understand that it becomes a special target for our intelligence, for our special services, for our army.
I am especially grateful to all who protect this direction, who withstand this pressure of Russian terrorists and protects Ukraine and the world from the nuclear threat created by the occupiers. I am grateful to all our energymen who support the stable operation of the power system of Ukraine and the Zaporizhzhya station itself. And we do our best to restore peace, safety to this part of our country, and all other cities and other areas of our beautiful Ukraine.
Cruel fights continue in the Donbass. The hottest front points in this direction are unchanged - Avdiivka, Marinka, Sands, Bakhmut and the whole corresponding direction. Russia has sent there simply a tremendous amount of its military resources - artillery, equipment, people. All our defenders and defenders there are just heroes. Kharkiv - Ukrainian defense is strong, and the attempts of the invaders to attack are constantly failing.
The struggle in the south of the country gives good news about the destruction of the forces and means of the Russian army. We do not lose a day - we reduce the potential of the invaders. It is very important that the export grain initiative gives the result. Since the beginning of its implementation, 16 vessels with grain for seven countries on three continents have come out of Ukrainian ports. It is Europe, Asia, Africa.
On board almost half a million tons of agricultural products: corn, wheat, sunflower oil, soybeans and other goods, absolutely needed by the world market. This has already made it possible to reduce the severity of the food crisis, gave some hope for peace to the consumers of our agricultural products. And in the future, it can help to completely remove the food crisis from the global agenda.
Of course, if partners provide the security part of the initiative and not allow Russian provocations and terror at sea or against our ports. Already, the first ship under loading within the UN Food Program is the supply of grain in particular for Ethiopia, where the famine situation is particularly cruel. Now the ship is preparing to depart from the port "South". For Ukraine, this has a significant benefit.
In less than two weeks of our three ports - Odesa, Chernomorsk and Southern - it was possible to export such volume, which is equal to all agricultural exports by motor transport for July and more than two thirds of rail exports last month. I want to emphasize again: these are jobs for our people, these are the funds that are needed for our sowing next year, and these are the revenues of our state budget. Increasing economic activity is a necessary element of the path to victory.
