However, a representative of the Ukrainian government in a comment to Bild clearly indicated that Ukraine is not going to negotiate with Russia, even if Brussels pressure increases. In this context, he emphasized that Ukraine seeks to succeed this year. "We need new successes by the end of the year to show that we win in this war," one of the Ukrainian diplomats said in an interview with the German newspaper.
