First, the teacher of St. Petersburg University was released for criticism of the war in Ukraine, and for some time they started a criminal case because of "falsification of materials about the Second World War". The Assistant Professor of the Faculty of History of St. Petersburg University was first released from the university, and then they took a criminal case to him because at his lectures the teacher criticized the so-called "his" (Russian-Ukrainian war,-ed. ).

The media Baza wrote about it on June 27. In the spring of this year, the university created a memorial to a student Solomonov, who voluntarily went to fight in Ukraine, but was liquidated there. Bilousov opposed and left a post in one of the social networks, which criticized both the emergence of such material and the Russian-Ukrainian war. On June 2, the University Ethics Commission considered Belousov's behavior and released a historian.

And on June 26, according to the media, a former teacher has taken a criminal case. It is not formally related to the Bilousov's reaction to war in Ukraine. The case file has testimony of witnesses how a historian spoke about World War II at his lectures. The teacher has repeatedly told the students that some topics concerning this war were falsified. However, it is undesirable to speak out loud, since such conversations are punished by law.

The associate professor is now threatened with a fine, restriction or imprisonment for 3 years. We will remind, at the end of June it became known that in Russia the administrator of the Telegram-channel was tortured by the current for publishing materials about occupied Mariupol. The judge rejected the prosecutor's question about the traces of torture, stating that it refers to a "document unexplored in court.
