The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation build new defense lines in the north of the occupied Crimea - GUR
Russia is preparing for the defense of the Crimean peninsula in particular, the invaders create defensive strips on the left bank of the Dnieper in Kherson and on the administrative border with Crimea. The representative of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Andriy Chernyak told the publication "Ukrinform".
According to him, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation prepare for the deployment of troops in two places in the northern part of the Dzhankoy district. He noted that it is very important for the Russians because the North of Crimea will become a area of defeat during the Armed Forces counter -offensive. Chernyak also said that on the northern part of the occupied peninsula, the occupiers are not evacuated.
He added that most collaborators from Kherson and Zaporizhzhya regions are trying not to get to Crimea but to Russia. "Even they understand that Crimea will be lost and returned to Ukraine in one way or another," GUR said. He added that Russian troops in the Crimea try to keep ships of the Black Sea Fleet and military equipment under the constant cover of air defense systems.
