The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation showed a "Supercherepach" tank for use in Ukraine: what is known (video)

These machines are designed to perform specific tasks - fire support, creation of corridors in minefields and more. However, the reduction of maneuverability and speed of the tank, according to experts, is a significant drawback. Against the background of a long war in Ukraine, Russia presented another modification of its armored vehicles, which has already been nicknamed "Supercherepach".

These tanks are equipped with rough devices to protect against drones, including well -known "brazier" - lattice metal screens, as well as solid metal sheets and mine equipment. About the modification of the tank in Army Recognition. The authors of the material noted that this version of the tank is an evolutionary continuation of the decision that has already been observed in the fields of battles in Ukraine. The design has become even larger than before and now resembles a huge moving cell.

However, the new "improvements" introduced in "Supercharpach" raise the issue of their real efficiency and future on the battlefield. According to Roszma, such "additional protection" was observed in the South Donetsk direction in the ranks of the 40th Guards Brigade of the Marines of the Pacific Fleet. The main task of metal screens is to protect against FPV-auctions that have become a formidable weapon in the arsenal of the Ukrainian forces.

And solid sheets are designed to weaken the destructive effect of cumulative shells, experts believe, such structures reduce the inspection and maneuverability of tanks, which limits their combat efficiency. This version of the tank is so large that it can even place an additional cage inside the main. However, despite such innovations, it remains unclear how much these changes improve the combat characteristics of the machine.

"Superchants" can be used, for example, as self -propelled artillery, giving fire support at a distance, minimizing the risk of direct contact with the opponent. However, reducing maneuverability and speed remains a significant disadvantage. In spite of this, tanks-tanks continue to be used to perform specific tasks, such as artillery support, demining and breakthrough of the enemy's defensive lines. To do this, a trall is installed on the tank, which makes mines work.
