The enemy plans to expand the offensive actions, the President said. He believes that it should be proved that the contrary to no circumstances and as if he did not act - he will not be able to achieve his goals. Ukraine is at the threshold of a new stage of the war and has to do everything possible to disrupt Russia's plan on the offensive.

This was stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky on the 800th day of the war during a working trip to Khmelnytsky region on Friday, May 3, where he met with border guards and presented them with awards. "We are now before a new stage in the war. The occupier is preparing to increase the offensive actions. And we all together, all Ukrainians, our warriors, our state, our partners, we must do everything to disrupt the Russian offensive plan," the Head of State emphasized .

According to him, it is necessary to prove that in all circumstances the Russian military will not be able to achieve their goals-as if they were not acting-Ukraine will still take a hill. Zelensky recalled that the decision to increase the number of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine by 15 thousand people, and each of the border guards should show their best qualities in Ukraine's defense.

"You continue to protect our border communities as effectively as possible and meet the occupier with his inevitable destruction in response to any Russian attempts to go through the line of our Ukrainian border," the President added. We will remind, on April 24 the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine supported an increase in the number of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine to 75 thousand servicemen.
