The Netherlands will allow Ukraine to use the F-16 over the territory of Russia-the media

According to Ganke Bryuins Sloth, the head of Dutch diplomacy, Ukraine can use Western aviation over Russia in accordance with Article 51 of the UN Charter. The Netherlands will not interfere with the use of F-16 fighters for self-defense in Russia. This was stated by the head of the Dutch diplomacy Ganke Brugins on the second day of an informal meeting of NATO foreign ministers in Prague on May 31, Radio Liberty reports.

"If you are entitled to self -defense, there are no limits to the use of weapons . . . This is a general principle," the Foreign Minister said. She also noted that Ukraine's right to use Western aviation over Russia is based on Article 51 of the UN Charter, which guarantees the right to self -defense. "This is the general principle we adhere to and we are, of course, very loaded with negotiations with Americans to make all the F-16 available (Ukraine).

We are ready to do everything possible to allow the F-16 to fly in the sky of Ukraine as soon as possible,"- The head of diplomacy said. Currently, Ukrainian pilots and land staff are trained in F-16 fighters. The first planes are expected to come to Ukraine this summer, according to international sources. Earlier, on May 30, Denmark Minister Lars Lukke Rasmussen stated that Kiev would be able to use Danish F-16 fighter jets for military targets and facilities in the Russian Federation.
