Beaten as on the simulator: EPPO application for the first time helped knock down the winged rocket

Thanks to the application, the Ukrainian anti -aircraft guns received information about their teenage to them in them a winged "caliber" rocket and was able to knock it from Igla MSC. Odesa authorities declared the first combat application of the EPPO program in the south of the country. One of the creators of the application, a member of the volunteer group "Technari" Gennady Soldin told the details of this event.

According to him, in the morning of October 22, thanks to the application received through the application of the Armed Forces, the winged rocket "caliber" from Igla MSCs managed to knock down. "The caliber" was flying at a very low height, due to the features of the terrain, the terrain was not observed location, - said Soldin. - But several vigilant citizens saw [the rocket] and immediately announced the military through the EPPO application.

The volunteer emphasized that the anti -aircraft officers received targets for a few seconds, so they had enough time to meet the caliber on the lift and knock it down as a simulator. According to Gennady Soldin, the application worked exactly as the developers who saw in it, first of all, the means of tracking the flowering of rippled rockets that were low. The threat of Iranian drones arose much later.

Soldin said that the Ukrainian air defense forces is the most value from rural areas about flying missiles and the drones of the invaders, as they most often fly in low -populated lowland areas. Therefore, he urged Ukrainians to establish an EPPO to strengthen Ukraine's defense. Recall that the emergence of the EPPO program was announced in mid -September.
