Blowing "Gazonographer": experts conducted an examination of new UAVs that attacked the Kyiv region

The first conclusions show that the apparatus used by Russian troops is less powerful than its predecessors, but can be used to detect air defense systems. Experts analyzed photo and video materials, which recorded Russian UAVs of the unidentified type during the attack of Kyiv region on October 22. Alexander Ruvin, Director of the KNISE (Kyiv Research Institute of Forensic Expertise), told this in his Telegram-channel. He noted that the results of the study are expected.

There was a study of unmanned aerial vehicles, which are already known as "lawn mowers". According to him, the first conclusions show that the apparatus used by Russian troops is less powerful than its predecessors. "In the case of an explosive charge, its mass will definitely be at times smaller than that of Shahd 136 and Shahd 131," Ruvin said. The post states that such a drone can be used to detect air defense.

After the appointment of the relevant examination, the transfer of objects and the relevant research, Ruvin promised to announce later. On October 22, explosions occurred on the territory of Holosiivskyi and Oblon districts of Kyiv. Air alarm in Kiev and the region was not declared before the explosions. The head of the Kyiv City Military Administration Sergey Popko announced the work of the air defense on the approaches to Kiev.
