"According to preliminary information, at about 4:00 December 11, 2023, Russian invaders struck a rocket strike in the Kyiv region," the message reads. The aircraft stressed that air defense managed to destroy eight air goals flying along the ballistic trajectory in the direction of Kiev. Previously, the enemy launched eight ballistic missiles from the northern direction - the Bryansk region of the Russian Federation.
All goals were destroyed by the anti -aircraft missile units of the Center Air Command. The aircraft added that the occupiers also attacked Ukraine with unmanned aerial vehicles such as Shahd, which were launched from Belbeck in temporarily occupied Crimea. "In total, 18 shock UAV-136/131 is recorded," the message reads. Air defense has destroyed all enemy drones in the area of responsibility of the South Air Command, the majority in the Nikolaev area.
According to the KSCA, air alarm was announced at about 4:15 in Kiev. Later, Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko reported that, according to eyewitnesses in the Holosiivskyi district, the wreckage of the rocket damaged the roof of an apartment building. Also in the Darnytskyi district a fire broke out in an unfinished building due to the fall of the rocket fragments, it was promptly extinguished. Whereas another debris fell on the lawn, there are no fires and damage in the homes nearby.
"Four people - all adults - were injured in the Darnytskyi district as a result of a rocket attack by the enemy. According to him, the rocket fragment was also found on the territory of the store-warehouse in Darnytskyi district, costing without fire and damage.
