Poland has provided evidence of Russia's involvement in the "northern streams" - the media

The German government is skeptical of reports on the involvement of the Russian Federation in the explosion in the northern streams and consider it a possible distracting maneuver from Warsaw. The Polish intelligence service gave Germany evidence of the involvement of the Russians in the explosion at the Nord Stream and North Stream-2 gas pipelines, but the German authorities are skeptical of this information. About it reports the German edition of ZEIT.

It is noted that the intelligence recently sent Germany information that Poland identified part of the crew of the Andromeda yacht, which was in the incident zone. According to them, there are several men who were on the yacht for a while and, as claimed, had Russian citizenship. The publication emphasizes that it was Andromeda who played a crucial role in the attack on the Nord Streams on September 26, 2022.

According to the Gdansk Prosecutor's Office, on September 19 of the same year, the Polish Border Service checked the Andromeda crew during a stop of yacht in the Polish city of Kolobog and recorded personal data of crew members. In addition, the prosecutor's office reported that men presented Bulgarian documents, which were apparently forged. One of the men - probably Captain Yachta - was called "Mikhail Popov".

The Polish intelligence service believes that she knows the true persons of these people, and suggests that some of them may be related to Russian military intelligence. The German government and investigators are skeptical about these reports and consider it possible to distract the maneuver by Warsaw, the newspaper notes. The election campaign is ongoing in Poland, the publication explains, and the Polish government has been publicly suspected of Russia in the crime.

"It is not excluded that the Polish authorities emphasize the Russian footprint to distract from Ukraine," the newspaper notes. On September 26, an extraordinary event occurred at the Russian gas pipeline "Nord Stream - 2" - a sharp jump in pressure was recorded at the facility. After that, it became known that the pressure fell in both threads of another object - the "northern stream". Earlier, the European Space Agency showed satellite images of gas leakage on the Nord Streams.

Meanwhile, the UK Ministry of Defense suggested that Russia could undermine its gas pipelines with an underwater drone. The head of the Danish Foreign Ministry Lars Lecke Rasmussen on March 16 stated that his country would not allow the Russian Federation to participate in the investigation of the incident on the "north streams".
