China showed a combat work of the anti-tank missile HJ-10: features of weapons

The feature of the HJ-10 is its improved guidance system, which allows the operator not only to control the rocket during the flight process, but also to adjust the rocket course or even to transfer it to another target after starting. In China, on September 23, rare frames of start-ups of anti-tank missile HJ-10 (PTKR) were shown from MV3 armored vehicles.

These personnel provide valuable information about the capabilities of the system developed by Norinco, which has replenished the arsenal of advanced Chinese weapons, reports Army Recognition. The HJ-10 rocket is also known as "Red Arrow 10", equipped with a tandem fugas warhead (Heat) capable of punching up to 1400 mm of steel armor, even if it is protected by dynamic protection. The maximum range of the rocket is 10 km, which allows to attack targets at a considerable distance.

This PTKR has a cylindrical structure with a hemispherical nasal and decomposition wings that provide it with stability in flight. The length of the rocket is 1850 mm, the diameter is 165 mm, and the weight when starting is 43 kg. In flight, the rocket develops up to 150 m/s, and in the final stage it can accelerate up to 230 m/s.

The feature of the HJ-10 is its improved guidance system, which uses a combination of television and infrared shooting, as well as an inertial system and a double-sided fiber optic data channel. This allows the operator not only to control the rocket during the flight process, but also to adjust its course or even to retreat to another target after starting. In the future, it is planned to replace the fiber optic system with a radio channel, which will increase the flexibility of the rocket.

HJ-10 is able to impress goals both in the frontal attack and from above, which allows you to effectively fight both tanks and armored vehicles, and helicopters flying low. Various warhead options, including Tandem Heat and a warhead with a "penetrating core", expand the range of combat missions that this system can perform.
