In Karnatak, in the south of India, police accidentally found a woman with two young children from Russia who has been living in an isolated cave for seven years. 40-year-old Nina Kutina, also known as Mochi, said that she led such a way of life for the sake of spiritual practice, meditation and Hindu rituals. According to local authorities, Kutina built a shelter in a cave on the Ramatirtha Hill, not far from the tourist city of Gokarna.

The police noticed in the wind of the Sari and found a makeshift housing decorated with idols and an altar inside the cave. Her children were nearby - a girl of four and a boy of six years. "We were shocked. This is a place full of poisonous snakes and prone to landslides," said a local police representative. According to him, the family was fed exclusively by the noodles of the quick preparation, which caused particular concern for the health of children.

The woman was convinced to leave the cave and move to the Ashram, driven by an 80-year-old nun Swami Yogarata Saraswati in Banquikodla village. She was temporarily provided with shelter and children were given access to medical care and safety. Law enforcement officers found that the Russian woman entered India on a business visa, the term of which expired in 2017. In 2018, she went to Nepal, but soon returned and has been illegally in India.

Initially, she claimed that she had lost her passport, but the documents were found near her asylum. The authorities began the procedure for deportation of women and investigation to establish all the circumstances of her stay in the forest. Earlier, Focus reported that the couple had regretted the trip to the "five -star" hotel.
