Also, the premises of a kindergarten were damaged - windows and doors were broken," Klitschko writes.

In the Desnyan district of the capital, the mayor added, several cars caught fire due to falling fragments of aerial weapons, and a fire broke out in warehouses. The consequences of the Russian strike are being eliminated by emergency services. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi commented on another shelling of the Russian Federation.

On his page, the head of state wrote that since the beginning of this year, Russian troops have fired about 770 ballistic missiles and more than 50 Dagger aeroballistic missiles over Ukraine. "It is precisely because of such attacks that we pay special attention to Patriot systems in order to be able to protect our cities from this horror," Zelenskyy writes.

The Ukrainian leader also noted that the West is capable of providing such assistance so that such attacks no longer threaten the lives of Ukrainian citizens. "Russian ballistics requires a response from strong states in real cooperation to protect life," the president emphasized. Earlier, the Kyiv City Military Administration informed about ten injured and one dead. Emergency services continue to work on the ground, eliminating the consequences of shelling and fire.
