Iran scares with Quaher-313 unmanned fighters with bombs and rockets: when they appear
It is an Iranian single lightweight combat aircraft, which was represented in February 2013 by President Mahmud Ahmadinjad, but has not yet been received by Iran's Air Force. The aircraft has an unusual design with a front wing arrangement and a tail, similar to a duck. It also has relatively small size and weight. The QAHER-313 is equipped with one Rotax 912 engine, which provides it with a maximum speed of 600 km/h. The fighter can carry weapons, including air-air-air missiles and bombs.
The exact characteristics of the QAHER-313 are unknown, but the MilitaryFactory portal cites the following, referring to information from the Iranian authorities: and the possibility of the emergence of an unmanned Quher-313 version was first declared in March 2023, Minister of Defense Iran Mohammad Reza Ashtian. He stated that the aircraft would be intelligence and observation, as well as for strikes for land purposes.
The unmanned Quaher-313 will have the same characteristics as the manned version, including the front location of the wing and the tail plumage. Similarly, the head of the Aviation Industry Organization Iran (IAIO), Affshin Hadzhe Fard, said in an interview with journalists that over the past four decades IAIO has overhaul all aircraft, and all Iranian bombs and missiles are now equipped with laser systems. Recall that Russia, along with Iran, is going to create a fleet of 6000 shahad drones.
