In the evening of May 1, Governor of Kursk Oblast Roman Starovoit wrote on Telegram that the region was fired during the day.

According to him, the village of Yelzavetivka of Glushkiv district, the crossing point "Krupets" and the village of Kozino in the Rylsky district were fired. "None of the residents were injured. The fence was damaged in Kozino with an explosion in one of the households. We will assist the owner in the repair of property," the official said.

According to him, near the villages of Gordiivka of the Koreniv district, Gornal of the Sudzhansky district, Runoshcha and the village of Staroi Mykolaivka of Rylsky district by means of radio -electronic struggle were disposed of drones. A few more UAVs were destroyed in the village of Tetkine, one of the drones-Kamikadze damaged a personal car. Oldovoit accused Ukraine in the event.
