Zelensky dismissed the Commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces Andriy Gnatov
"To release Gnatov Andriy Viktorovich from the post of commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces," the document states. The reasons for the release are not specified. Gnatov was replaced by Lieutenant General Yuri Solydya on June 24, 2024, having been eight months in office. Hnatov also headed the operative-strategic group of Khortytsia troops. In 2001, Andriy Hnatov graduated from the Kharkiv Institute of Pank Troops and launched a military career in the Marine Crimean Battalion in Crimea.
