In Gulyaypol, the Russians destroyed the museum of local lore: the historic building burned out (photo)
The building broke out as a result of a projectile and burned out, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. The Ministry of Internal Affairs press service noted that the invaders destroyed the Nestor Makhn Memorial Museum, but later law enforcement officers edited the publication. According to the community of "Gulyaypil Antiquities", the building was built in 1901 as a bank of a mutual credit society.
In the 1920s, it contained the Office of the Jewish Colonization Society, in the 1930s-a polyclinic, during the German occupation in the period from 1942-1943-the church, in the post-war period-the House of Culture and later-the Museum of Local History. "The building has come to our time in its original form, without reconstruction and destruction. 24. 08. 2024 - destroyed," the community said.
