Thus, if in 10 months of 2021 banks earned UAH 58 billion, then from January to October 2022 the profit of financial institutions amounted to only UAH 11 billion. Of the 67 Ukrainian banks, almost a third - 21 banks - they completed a period of UAH 19 billion. The total profit of banks with a "plus" balance in 10 months amounted to UAH 30 billion. The share of banks with foreign capital decreased from 31%to 26. 1%, and banks with private capital remained 11. 6%, while in 2021 there were 18%.

At the same time, from 16 banks with foreign capital, only 9 came out in plus as a result of ten months of work. The total profit of this group of financial institutions is UAH 7. 9 billion. In the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, the forecast of the fall of the gross domestic product (GDP) in 2022 due to rocket attacks of Russia. There they reported that the fall of GDP in November accelerated up to 41%.

As explained in early December 2022, First Deputy Minister Denis Kudin, in 2023 the Ministry of Economy does not change its forecast - it provides for GDP growth at 3. 2%, as is laid in the budget. However, such a forecast will turn into a reality under one condition: the active phase of war will end in the summer. "It should be understood that firing of energy infrastructure by the Russian Federation will also affect inflation. After all, enterprises will carry an increase in consumers.

But this is a short -term trend," Kudin said. But there is also good news: the ministry believes that the power system is restored at a very fast pace and now in many ways corresponds to October levels. The gross domestic product reflects the market value of all final goods and services produced in all sectors of the economy during the year. Earlier, Focus talked about the grandiose plans of the Ministry of Economy to create new jobs in the next 5 years.
