"We have prepared nearly 6,000 answers to the European Commission's questions. We, together with the EU, have performed an association agreement. There are still some procedures left - legal screening, market assessment, legislation. But this does not need years. Therefore, it is quite realistic to go to negotiations in 2023 ", - she said. According to her, Ukraine is ready to complete all tasks for EU membership in three years, but does not know if the block is ready for it.

Stephanishina noted that it will not take decades to access the EU in Kiev. "To do this, we now take the initiative to our hands and we will not wait for the EU to tell us how to do further," she said. Olga Stefanishina stated that Ukraine should not become part of the Balkan EU expansion format. According to her, Kyiv did a lot of work on the way to entry, as he performed the Association Agreement, unlike the Balkan countries.

She noted that the EU is committed to packet decision policies and Ukraine would probably move on the way to joining Moldova. "It is a pity that Georgia has not become part of this trio of expansion - but it was also a very important geopolitical solution for the EU . . . The official believes that Ukraine will necessarily join NATO if the block "exists at the moment when such a window of opportunity appears.

" Stephanishina said that today the coordination of security assistance for Kiev is being decided outside the Alliance. However, Ukraine is now closer to NATO as much as possible without membership. The politician also believes that the window of opportunity to join the military bloc may appear before the end of the war with the Russian Federation.
