Civilians released from Russian captivity will be entitled to defer from mobilization: the Verkhovna Rada supported the bill

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine approved as a whole, Bill No. 12104 on clarification of the grounds for giving delay from conscription for military service during mobilization. 304 MPs voted in favor. Important changes include the right to defer the mobilization of those whose close relatives have disappeared and released from the Russian captivity by the Russian captivity.

At the end of October, President Vladimir Zelensky, during a meeting with civil society representatives, transferred a letter of request from their native prisoners to the possibility of delayed from mobilization for this category of Ukrainians and Ukrainian women.   The head of state instructed to deal with this issue of the deputy head of the Presidential Office Irina Vereshchuk.
