It concerns Poland and the Baltic countries: Danilov spoke about Russian nuclear weapons in Belarus

According to the Secretary of the NSDC, the transfer of part of the Russian nuclear arsenal to the territory of a neighboring country is aimed at sowing fear in the countries of the West. The movement of nuclear weapons of the Russian Federation into the territory of the Republic of Belarus does not change anything significantly for Ukraine. This was stated by the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Alexei Danilov on the air of the TEMURAFON on July 25.

According to the official, the placement of tactical nuclear weapons in Belarus is aimed at intimidating the Western partners of Ukraine. However, this step is not essential for Kiev. "This applies primarily to Poland, the Baltic States. We are very careful about everything that is happening there," Alexei Danilov stated. The NSDC Secretary also pointed out that Russia actually absorbs Belarus, which, according to him, is "almost not an independent country".

We will remind, on July 22 the edition of CNN reported, referring to the reconnaissance department of the US Defense Ministry, which in Belarus appeared a tactical nuclear weapon, transferred from the Russian Federation. Oleksandr Lukashenko, speaking on the Independence Day of Belarus on June 30, stated that his country would never have to use nuclear weapons received from the Russian Federation.
