This was reported by Ukrainian journalist Andriy Tsaplienko in his Telegram channel on February 23. "The Russian armored group was moving at the position of the 79th Brigade in the Marinka area. But the paratroopers burned several enemy armored vehicles. Then they advanced and destroyed the remains of the assault group," Andrei Tsaplienko said. The journalist posted a video shot on a unmanned aircraft showing how a Russian assault group of five armored vehicles came in the Avdiivsky direction.

The Ukrainian military noticed an enemy moving in the field. After that, the fighters of the 79th Brigade began to attack the invaders, Ukrainians struck several accurate blows. As a result, combat equipment exploded, fire and thick smoke raised into the sky. After successful blows on the technique of the invaders, the paratroopers advanced and eliminated the personnel that survived during the attack.

It should be noted that at the time of the publication the press service of the 79th Brigade and the command of the DShV did not comment on the enemy's offensive and the reflection of the attack.
